Charlo vs Tszyu Odds
BoxerOddsJermell Charlo-310Tim Tszyu+220
Jermell, opens as the firm betting favorite here -310. After only recently stopping WBO 154-lb champion Brian Castano to become the undisputed champion on May 14th in their rematch. You can bet $310 on Charlo, as a moneyline wager here to net $100 profit. When betting props for Charlo vs Tszyu are released, a wager on Charlo by KO would be a more lucrative bet on the favorite.
This is the first time in his career that Tim Tszyu is the underdog. After, debuting in the US against Terrel Gausha on March 26 in Minneapolis. The Aussie went the distance with Gausha, and retained his WBO Global light-middleweight title. There is decent betting value on Tszyu here as a +200 underdog, with $100 down and a chance of netting $220 if he remains undefeated.
Breaking: Despite reports that there is a deal for Jermell Charlo to defend undisputed 154 vs WBO mandatory Tim Tszyu next, the team of IBF mandatory Bakhram Murtazaliev, who is supposed to be next under the rotation system, is asserting his rights he should be next for Charlo.

Betting on Charlo vs Tszyu
Tim Tszyu has a huge opportunity here against one half of the Charlo brothers, Jermell. The 27 year old has an unblemished record of 21-0 and holds a 71% win ratio by KO. Tszyu who’s the son of another famous boxer Kostya Tszyu, is a big puncher but holds a TKO win over Jeff Horn. His last two fights have went to the decision, showing the Aussie has the technique and cardio fight at championship level.
I expect this fight to be a true war, with both boxers having the elite level technique and geneine hunger. Even for Jermell at 32 years of age, he’s now cracked The Ring pound-for-pound rankings at no.10 and deservedly so. While, other media outlets choose to ignore Charlo’s greatness. They masses can’t deny another win here for Jermell, could place him closer to the top-five and cement a super-fight against another pound for pound great even if it means moving up in weight for it.
JERMELL CHARLO VS. TIM TSZYU OFFICIAL TRAILER
After Charlo made a statement with his 10th round TKO win over Castro, he commented that the amount of mandatory fights that are being requested means he might have to drop some belts, making the allure of undisputed fights at 154-pounds less accessible.
Overall, Charlo does have the edge here with his progression lately. He seems to be getting better with age and is in his prime right now. He has more championship level experience than Tszyu. For Tszyu, he’ll need to give Charlo different looks constantly but for the most part this fight falls into the hands of Charlo.
Another Big Fight for Aussie Boxing
Tim Tszyu is a great name to be chosen as Charlo’s next mandatory challanger. Not only for Charlo’s fans but for the Tim Tszyu’s massive Australian fanbase. As George Kambosos is coming off a loss to Devin Haney, local fans can now turn their attention to Tszyu while Kambsoso figures out his next move.
No Limit boxing’s George Rose said: “It’s great to have the support of the WBO and they are just as excited as we are that this massive fight is now so close. We have a good working relationship with PBC and we are now just working out a date and a venue for the Charlo v Tszyu fight, with dates in October and November on the table.
“We are very confident we will have everything finalised soon and we can’t wait to announce this historically monumental fight for Aussie boxing!”
